Privacy Policy

Updated October 28, 2026

This policy applies to the Yisheng Zhongyi (一声钟意) iPhone app, including voice input, local records and support requests.

Contact the developer

Include the app and iOS versions and steps to reproduce the issue. Do not send passwords, verification codes or unrelated private tasks.

1. Voice input and Apple recognition

The app records a request only when you start voice input and grant permission. Apple recognizes speech on device when supported for the selected language; otherwise audio may be sent to Apple. Recognized text is processed on your device to display the request, parse its time and task, and create the alarm. The app has no developer speech server and does not upload recordings or transcripts to a developer server. Apple's handling is covered by its Siri, Dictation and Privacy information and Privacy Policy.

Each recording creates a temporary file. The app attempts to delete it after normal completion, cancellation or failure. If the process ends unexpectedly or deletion fails, the file may remain in temporary storage until system cleanup. There is no recording collection, sharing or long-term audio library.

2. Alarms, local records and backups

iOS AlarmKit manages alarm schedules. Task names, alarm IDs, times and language preferences are stored locally for the list, undo and history. Version 1.1 also stores upcoming task names, IDs, times, language and widget browsing selections in an on-device container shared with the widget extension, for Home/Lock Screen display and paging. Widgets may display tasks; manage your widgets and system Lock Screen privacy settings as needed.

The app has no developer cloud sync service. Device backups depend on your system and backup settings. Swipe left to delete upcoming alarms and use Past Alarms to delete history. “Scheduled time passed” does not confirm sound delivery or task completion. Deleting local records does not withdraw speech requests Apple has already processed.

3. Permissions and control

Microphone access records requests you start; Speech Recognition turns audio into text; Alarm access schedules system alarms. You can revoke these in iPhone Settings, affecting the corresponding features. Siri and Shortcuts receive requests through Apple services without starting the app's microphone.

4. Accounts, ads and diagnostics

No account is required. The app has no ads, ad tracking, third-party analytics SDKs or automatic transfer of personal information to a developer server. Technical logs do not record speech transcripts or task text.

When using TestFlight or the App Store, Apple may provide diagnostics, crash reports, aggregate usage information or feedback you submit, depending on its terms and your settings. The developer can use available Apple reports to investigate issues and improve the app. These are Apple-managed platform services, rather than an analytics SDK added to the app.

5. Contacting the developer

If you email support or submit feedback through Apple, the developer receives the email address, description and attachments you choose to provide, to reply, investigate issues and handle privacy requests. Remove unrelated personal information before sending; passwords, verification codes and full private task lists are not needed.

Support information is retained only as necessary to handle feedback, troubleshoot or meet applicable obligations, and is not used for advertising. Email the address above to ask about, correct or delete support information held by the developer. The request may need to be verified against the relevant email or feedback. Any limits due to platform access, backups or required retention will be explained in the reply. Email and Apple platforms handle data in their systems under their own terms; deleting app data cannot withdraw information they already processed.

6. This website and policy updates

This website displays help, privacy information and a contact address. It has no account, feedback form, ads or analytics scripts. The hosting provider may process network request information necessary to serve and secure the site. This page and its date will be updated when features or data handling change.
